Mira Sucharov is a professor of Political Science at Carleton University in Ottawa, where she specializes in Israeli-Palestinian relations and Jewish affairs. She is an author and op-ed contributor, and her books include Borders and Belonging: A Memoir (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021), Public Influence: A Guide to Op-Ed Writing and Social Media Engagement (University of Toronto Press, 2019), and The International Self: Psychoanalysis and the Search for Israeli-Palestinian Peace (SUNY Press, 2005). She is the founding co-chair of the Jewish Politics Division at the Association for Jewish Studies, and is immediate past co-editor of AJS Perspectives.
