RABBI DAVID SAPERSTEIN is the Senior Advisor for Policy and Strategy for the Union for Reform Judaism (RAC). Among other responsibilities, he is a point person for the Reform Movement on antisemitism issues and in its interfaith work. He served as U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom under President Obama. Rabbi Saperstein taught for decades seminars on church–state law and on comparative Jewish and American law at Georgetown University Law Center. He has lectured widely and testified before Congress on antisemitism issues, serving as an advisor in ’24-“25 to several university presidents on how to address antisemitism on their campuses.
