Nexus Welcomes Gaza Ceasefire Agreement; Hopes for Full End to War and Progress Toward Lasting Peace

The Nexus Project welcomes the announcement of a ceasefire and hostage release agreement between Israel and Hamas.

The release of all remaining hostages and the cessation of violence offer incredible relief to families who have endured unimaginable anguish and to communities devastated by two years of war. Every life saved through this agreement matters. We firmly hope that this agreement will proceed past its first phase, to ensure an end to the war and humanitarian devastation.

We must be clear-eyed: this is just the beginning. True peace will require building bridges, not deepening divisions. We urge all stakeholders to approach the next phases of this process with good faith, recognizing that sustainable peace is the only way forward.
